EDITION and Sotheby’s Unveil an Extraordinary Jewelry-and-Travel Experience at The Lake Como EDITION
In a rare fusion of high jewelry, elevated hospitality, and experiential travel, EDITION Hotels has teamed up with Sotheby’s and avant-garde jewelry designer Sarah Ysabel Narici of DYNE to introduce a one-of-a-kind luxury package: Verdant Reverie: The Gem of the Alps at The Lake Como EDITION. The offering will appear as an exclusive lot in Sotheby’s Fine Jewelry auction, open for bidding from November 26 to December 11 during the auction house’s inaugural Luxury Week at its newly opened Breuer building.
The collaboration builds on the growing intersection between collectible art and luxury travel—a shared vision that EDITION and Sotheby’s continue to champion. This year’s partnership elevates that mission with a pairing that blends contemporary craftsmanship, design innovation, and the timeless allure of Lake Como.
A Necklace Inspired by the Waters of Como
At the heart of the offering is a limited-edition DYNE necklace, selected by Frank Everett, Sotheby’s Vice Chairman, Jewelry Americas. Designed in radiant yellow gold and set with luminous mottled jade, the piece echoes the serpentine curves of Lake Como’s shoreline and the gentle movement of its waters. Its sculptural yet classic aesthetic mirrors the spirit of The Lake Como EDITION—an architectural statement designed for global acclaim.
Estimated between $15,000 and $25,000, the necklace becomes both a wearable work of art and a keepsake of the experience that accompanies it.
A First Look at The Lake Como EDITION
The winning bidder will also enjoy an immersive two-night escape to The Lake Como EDITION—one of the most anticipated openings of 2026. Located on the lake’s tranquil edge and framed by dramatic alpine peaks, the property brings a contemporary lens to one of Italy’s most storied destinations.
Guests will stay in one of the hotel’s premier Penthouses, featuring custom furnishings, Calacatta Turquoise marble touches, Calacatta Gold Stone bathrooms with fluted glass, and restored French balconies that open to panoramic views of Lake Como and the Bellagio hills. The stay grants early access to EDITION’s newest crown jewel ahead of its official launch in March 2026.
A Curated Journey Through Como
Beyond the penthouse stay and necklace, Verdant Reverie includes a series of bespoke experiences designed to reveal Lake Como’s beauty through art, cuisine, wellness, and nature:
A multi-course tasting experience with wine pairing at Cetino, Chef Mauro Colagreco’s signature restaurant at the property, rooted in his philosophy of circular gastronomy.
A 110-minute Mind & Body Detox Ritual at The Longevity Spa, merging ancient practices with cutting-edge biohacking technologies.
A private boat tour across Lake Como’s emerald waters, featuring a curated picnic and shoreline views of historic villas including Villa Carlotta and Villa del Balbianello.
A sunset aperitivo at Renzo, the hotel’s breezy all-day dining space framed by Mediterranean herbs and citrus trees.
A full day with a Mercedes E-Class at disposal for effortless regional exploration.
Round-trip luxury airport transfers between Milan and the hotel.
An exclusive Lake Como guide curated by Narici and Everett, spotlighting the region’s most meaningful cultural and natural touchpoints.
A Celebration of Craft and Place
“This collaboration reflects EDITION’s commitment to redefining modern luxury by thoughtfully embedding contemporary design within the world’s most storied landscapes,” said George Fleck, Senior Vice President and Global Brand Leader at EDITION. “In partnership with Sotheby’s and DYNE, we are proud to offer an experience that celebrates traditional craftsmanship with globally influenced creativity.”
Lake Como has long captivated poets, painters, and travelers with its cobalt waters and dramatic mountain silhouettes. With The Lake Como EDITION—developed in partnership with Omnam Investment Group and Bain Capital—EDITION aims to reinterpret the region’s heritage through the brand’s signature blend of modernity and understatement. Verdant Reverie serves as a distilled expression of that vision: a work of art, a journey, and a destination experience woven into one.

EDITION currently operates 21 hotels in New York and Times Square, Miami Beach, West Hollywood, Tampa, Barcelona, Bodrum, London, Reykjavik, Madrid, Rome, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sanya China, Shanghai, Tokyo Toranomon, Singapore, Riviera Maya at Kanai, Mexico, a second in Tokyo Ginza, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and Lake Como.
