Veni, Vidi, Venezia: The St. Regis Venice Takes Center Stage in the Emily in Paris Season 5 Finale

In the finale of Emily in Paris Season 5, Netflix’s global phenomenon trades Parisian cobblestones for Venetian waterways—and at the heart of the story is The St. Regis Venice. Titled “Veni, Vidi, Venezia,” the tenth and climactic episode positions the storied Grand Canal property as both a cinematic backdrop and a narrative anchor, showcasing the hotel’s rare blend of historic grandeur and contemporary elegance.

Composed of a collection of meticulously restored Venetian palazzi, The St. Regis Venice becomes the setting for pivotal moments as Emily navigates defining career choices and romantic turns during a Venice Fashion Week storyline. Sweeping waterfront shots frame the hotel’s iconic façade, while more intimate scenes unfold across refined guestrooms and suites, Gio’s restaurant, and the Arts Bar with its terrace overlooking the canal. From gondolas gliding past the property to sunlit breakfasts and Aperol Spritzes shared between Emily (Lily Collins) and Mindy (Ashley Park), the episode captures Venice through a lens of cinematic glamour.

Beyond the screen, the hotel also hosted cast members during filming, reinforcing its role as a true home base for the production. For viewers, the result is a vivid immersion into the rhythm of Venetian life—where canals, terraces, and timeless architecture set the tone for Emily’s Italian chapter.

“We are delighted to have partnered with Netflix and the producers of Emily in Paris to showcase The St. Regis Venice on a global stage,” said Audrey Huttert, General Manager of The St. Regis Venice. “This strategic collaboration not only reinforces our position as one of the most iconic destinations in Venice but also allows millions of viewers worldwide to experience the magic of our property.”

The collaboration arrives on the heels of the series’ continued success, with Season 4 drawing nearly 20 million views in its first four days alone. For The St. Regis Venice—and the broader St. Regis brand—it marks a milestone moment, aligning the hotel’s legacy of bespoke hospitality with one of television’s most influential cultural exports.

Today, The St. Regis Venice offers 163 guestrooms and suites, many with private terraces overlooking the Grand Canal. Guests can experience the flavors of Puglia and Venice at Gio’s under the direction of Chef Giuseppe Ricci, or explore art-inspired mixology at the renowned Arts Bar. Together, these spaces reflect the hotel’s philosophy: honoring Venetian heritage while embracing modern refinement.

As Emily in Paris continues to shape travel dreams worldwide, The St. Regis Venice emerges as more than a filming location—it stands as a symbol of cinematic romance and elevated hospitality, inviting guests to create their own stories along one of the world’s most storied waterways.
