Casa Stefano Ricci Opens in Singapore, Redefining Italian Luxury in the Sky

Filippo Ricci

Stefano Ricci extends its vision of refined Italian living to Southeast Asia with the opening of Casa Stefano Ricci Singapore, a 340-square-metre private lounge perched atop 268 Orchard Road. Conceived as an elevated sanctuary for the brand’s most discerning clientele, the new destination brings together craftsmanship, intimacy, and panoramic views over one of the world’s leading luxury capitals.

Developed across a series of distinct yet fluid spaces, Casa Stefano Ricci is designed to host moments of leisure and ritual. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame the Singapore skyline, while a dedicated Cigar Vault, wine-tasting area, Lounge Bar, and multiple private rooms create an atmosphere that is both exclusive and welcoming. At the heart of the lounge, a striking six-metre-high artistic glass ceiling—crafted in Florence—stands as a tribute to Italy’s enduring artisanal heritage.

The interiors are an exercise in material excellence. “Acqua Bianca” marble, prized for its fine grain and pure white tone, clads the floors and walls, each surface sculpted and finished entirely by hand. Californian briar-root wood furnishings add warmth and depth, balancing the architectural purity of the space with tactile sophistication.

Casa Stefano Ricci Singapore features five private rooms, including the Skyview Dining Salon, an intimate setting reserved for just ten guests. The Cigar Room, designed to host up to six aficionados, offers discreet comfort supported by a state-of-the-art ventilation system, ensuring an exceptional environment for the ritual of fine cigars. Here, guests can explore the full range of SR Cigar Accessories, reinforcing the brand’s holistic approach to lifestyle luxury.

Attention to detail extends to the tableware and decorative elements. Porcelains from the SR Home Collection are crafted in Florence and embellished with gold and platinum detailing. Crystal glassware is handmade by Moleria Locchi, a historic nineteenth-century Florentine workshop acquired by the Stefano Ricci Group last summer. The glass ceiling and wall paneling were developed in collaboration with Mellini Mosaici, internationally renowned for its delicate restoration of stained-glass windows in cathedrals and institutional landmarks.

“For us, Casa Stefano Ricci represents the evolution of an experience that began in 2000 with our Shanghai Lounge,” says Niccolò Ricci, CEO of Stefano Ricci S.p.A. “Today, this concept can be developed in other world capitals, strengthening our vision of a true luxury lifestyle.”

The Singapore opening follows a series of experiential destinations that underscore the brand’s expansion beyond fashion, including the Stefano Ricci Presidential Suite at the Principe di Piemonte in Versilia and the Stefano Ricci La Rocca Suite at Castelfalfi Resort near Florence. With Casa Stefano Ricci Singapore, the house reaffirms its commitment to crafting immersive environments where Italian artistry, privacy, and global luxury converge—now high above Orchard Road.
